With income received from dumping demolition debris from the former Union Hospital at $36,384.80 a council member said the City has missed the opportunity of a significant revenue source.

The shrinking capacity at the Moose Jaw landfill was the reason the majority of the debris from the former Moose Jaw Union Hospital was hauled to the City yards and not the landfill documents obtained by an FOI show.
