Nolan : Here Nor There - A Lesson Of Reconciliation And Love In Saskatchewan Film
A story based upon the suicide epidemic on many First Nations and faced by others is the backdrop of a film written and co-produced by Moose Jaw film maker Dustan Hlady. It is a story about salvation, redemption and reconcilliation.
Hlady talks about the film which has been chosen to appear in five film festivals this year. It is a story of love for Saskatchewan film making and how the medium allows us to bridge gaps and tell our local stories and not the stories of other places.

City Offers Equivalent Credit But No Cash To Ticket Rocket's Victims
Council has decided to offer ticket purchasers who can not get a refund for tickets they purchased to two concerts and three Warriors’ hockey games through Ticket Rocket equivalent value gift cards.
Council also heard for the first time that the troubles with Ticket Rocket were going on prior to the Scotties with Mosaic Place having to request monies to be remitted every Friday for the national women’s curling championship.
Council also admitted the gift cards are likely not what most ticket purchasers want but it is the best option as there is no $200,000 in the bank to pay out people still seeking refunds.

Rhino's Ramblings - South Hill School Of Politics (Encore Column)
Due to illness there will be no new Rhino's Ramblings this week but instead we offer the following a discussion of what really happened when the South Hill Joint Use School was announced. The column was initially published on March 4th of this year.
The commentary is backed up with documents obtained through a Freedom Of Information request which shed light on the behind the scenes machinations developing the proposed joint-use school and call into question what really transpired.
It can be argued what was said publicly in a major way deviates from what was really going on behind the scenes and the two school divisions were not working in collaboration with the City of Moose Jaw when it came to the final site selection.
The documents call into question if the school divisions were as transparent as they portray themselves in public to be.
Was there really honest community input is something which may be asked.
The internal documents to some extent back up the arguments of Trustee Jan Radwanski.
