One week after the incident further details surrounding the death of a so far unnamed individual in Moose Jaw Police (MJPS) custody are not being released.
The MJPS sites the on-going external investigation as the reason for not releasing further information.

Council Adopts Vaccination Policies With Employee Tests Paid For By The City
After a lengthy debate Council agreed to proof of vaccination policies for employees and contractors.
There was one proviso with Council agreeing the City and not employees should be responsible for the cost of the weekly tests estimated to cost between $90 and $100. Contractors who are not fully vaccinated are responsible to provide and pay for their own testing.
