A case of animal abuse dating back over two years has been resolved with the accused pleading guilty to a provincial charge of cruelty to animals.
Robyn St Laurent, of no fixed address, was fined $1,000 and placed under a stringent five year prohibition to not only not owning animals but additionally she must provide her address to animal protection authorities who are allowed in daylight hours to search her residence to ensure no animals are present.
