No New Deal For Tourism Moose Jaw This Year

Tourism Moose Jaw’s request for more funding as well as the City to take over the maintenance and repairs/renovations of their owned tourism booth that sits on leased City land was deferred to 2024 to allow Administration to review the present agreements and look at the options.

Parks and recreation director gave four funding examples in 2023 while at the same time Administration recommended against funding this year.

The 2022 Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Canada West Curling Championship kicked off at the Moose Jaw Events Centre this morning.

The event features five teams - Moose Jaw, Comox, Edmonton, Cold Lake and Winnipeg - competing for the championship held from today until Thursday.
