Police Hosting Free BBQ And Information Session
Do you want to know more about the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) and policing in the Notorious City?
Then tomorrow - Tuesday September 10 - is your opportunity to meet members of the MJPS and “interrogate” them and members of the Moose Jaw Police Commission as they host their second annual community barbecue.
From 11:30 am – 1 pm the MJPS will be hosting a free community barbecue at the Crescent Park Amphitheater.
This will be an opportunity to not only enjoy a free lunch but meet some of the members of the MJPS as well as their K9 unit.
There will be the opportunity to snap a photo with their police cars.
Following the barbecue there will be a meeting of the Moose Jaw Police Commission in the Moose Jaw Public Library.
The meeting is open to the public where the budget, priorities, crime statistics and police work will be discussed.
There will also be a question and answer session where residents are encouraged and allowed to ask questions about the MJPS.
