Three Schools Send Home Letters Indicating A Case Of COVID - 19 Has Been Identified

Three more schools have sent letters home to parents indicating that there has been a case of COVID - 19 identified at their schools.

On November 10th parents at Riverview Collegiate, King George School and Sacred Heart School parents received a letter from principals at the three schools advising them COVID - 19 had been detected at each of the schools.

With these three additional cases it raises the number of known cases of COVID - 19 at Moose Jaw schools to nine in the past week. With Prince Arthur School reporting three cases on November 9th.

The letters all indicate that Public Health would be contacting the parents of children who had been in close contact with the individual who had contracted the virus,

The letters do not identify if the person who contracted the virus is a staff member, student or a volunteer in each of the cases.

Parents are advised if they or their child exhibit the symptoms of COVID - 19 to telephone the Healthline at 811 for more information and instructions.
