Sports court at Kinsmen Arena closed until further notice

An errant ball at lacrosse practice on Thursday evening that led to the closing of the sports court at the Kinsmen Arena until further notice.

According to witnesses who saw the incident a misplaced lacrosse shot, hit a fire sprinkler of the fire suppression system causing the sprinkler to go off.

The incident occurred Thursday evening about 8 PM during a lacrosse practice.

As a result of the incident the Kinsmen Arena sports court is closed until further notice.

The City of Moose Jaw advises the Kinsmen Arena Sportcourt is closed until further notice. Repairs are already underway, and we will update the media when the court has reopened to the public, a release stated.
