Whistlestop Returns For Another Year
Seen by many as the unofficial start to the Christmas season in Moose Jaw the Whistlestop Christmas Craft Sale kicks off today.
Running from 2 pm to 9 pm on Friday October 24th and 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday October the craft show features dozens of exhibitors with a wide variety of goods offered for sale.
Admission costs $5 (cash only) per day.
The Craft Sale is a long running trade show that was started by the late Shelley Bader and the late Ron Bader.
Originally the tradeshow was held at the former CPR passenger station until the building was converted to a government liquor store as well as other retail spaces.
Roots in the former CPR passenger station is why it’s called Whistlestop.
The trade show moved to the convention centre at the Moose Jaw Exhibition (250 Thatcher Drive East).
