Basketball Season Tips Off
Friday afternoon saw the official start to the high school basketball season as the Moose Jaw High School Athletic Association (MJHSAA) held their Junior Basketball Kickoff Tournament.
The two day tournament features teams from seven different schools.
Junior girls teams are from Central Collegiate, Vanier Collegiate, Peacock Collegiate, St Mary, Weyburn and Grenall.
Junior boys teams are from Central Collegiate, Vanier Collegiate, Peacock Collegiate, St Mary, Estevan and Grenall.
Games are being played at Peacock Collegiate, Central Collegiate and Vanier Collegiate.
Games start Saturday at 10 am at Vanier and Central Collegiates.
The girls’ championship is 2:20 pm at Peacock Collegiate.
The boys’ championship is at 4 pm at Peacock Collegiate.
All day admission for Saturday is $5.
