Lightning And Rain Suspend And Postpone Game

By Robert Thomas

Wednesday evening’s sudden lightning and rain storm put the lid on the game between the Moose Jaw U18 AA Canucks and the visiting Regina Blue Jays.

At first play was suspended for 30 minutes due to the lightning bringing out the tarps.

But half an inch of rain that fell in a short span of time cancelled the game for the evening.

Due to the fact the game had not put in four full innings it will be rescheduled and restart at an undetermined later date.

The score was 4 - 2 for the Blue Jays at the end of the third inning.
