Canucks Pull Off Barn Burner Win

There was a wild game Wednesday evening as the Moose Jaw U18 AAAs fought back from a one-time ten run deficit to defeat the Regina Athletics 15 ~ 13.

The Canucks would pick up 15 hits and the Athletics eight hits in what turned into a game seemingly devoid of defence.

The A’s would start out the first inning with two quick runs but the Canucks would tie the game 2 - 2 at the end of the second inning.

The big inning for Regina came in the third when they scored 10 unanswered runs. The score was 12 - 2 Regina.

It would take Moose Jaw until the fifth inning when they scored eight runs to stave off a mercy rule loss. The score was Canucks 14 and A’s 13.
