Dressage Goes Through Its Paces This Weekend
With hundreds of barrel racers having left the Moose Jaw Exhibition grounds for another year the focus this weekend now turns to dressage.
The event is put on by the Regina and District Dressage organization and will feature riders from across the province.
Although there is no exact number of participants wasn’t know at press time it is expected between 30 and 40 riders will participate in the free event.
The event runs Saturday August 16th and Sunday August 17th starting both days at 8 am until all of the events fit the day are over.
Dressage is a form of horse riding performed in exhibition with the horse and rider are expected to ride in memory a series of pre-determined movements.
Dressage is an Olympic sport.
