Kinsmen Cafe Hidden Lunch Treasure
By Richard Dowson Opinion/Commentary
I like food. It’s my thing. And Moose Jaw has many excellent cafes and restaurants.
I love going for lunch at the Kinsmen Café on 4th Avenue on the South Hill. You can’t beat it. The other day, when I was there, my soup and sandwich special came with a drink.
I asked, “How’s the coffee?”
The answer, “The best in Moose Jaw.”
She wasn’t kidding! Soup, sandwich and coffee made for a fabulous lunch.
I usually have the egg salad sandwich with the large soup but on the last visit I opted for the grilled ham and cheese.
Outstanding!!!
They serve a great breakfast but I have never tried it – yet. I’m usually tied up in the mornings.
Give the Kinsmen Café a try. You’ll love it. They are open from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM.
