Burger Creations Fight Against Hunger
A pair of Moose Jaw restaurants are participating in a unique cook off to assist the local food bank.
A purchase of a dedicated burger will see an automated donation to the food bank.
It’s part of a campaign to “beef up” the protein available at food banks. by their fourth annual Burger It Forward to help address record use at Canada’s food banks.
Use that sees 33 percent of food banks clients being children.
The local restaurants participating are Cask 82 located at 82 Manitoba Street West and Season’s Cafe and Silo Exchange located at 1590 Main Street North (Heritage Inn).
This year’s campaign sees a record 357 restaurants taking part nationwide.
The campaign in its fourth year is presented by Canada Beef.

The burger consists of: 4oz Certified Angus Beef Patty topped with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato. Served on a Toasted Bun with Pickles, Onions, Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo.

The burger consists of: 3oz House-Made Patties on a Potato Bun topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and finished off with our Chef Sauce.
