Wrestlers Do Well At Regionals

A huge shoutout to our Moose Jaw High School wrestlers who dominated the mat to qualify for the 2026 SHSAA Provincial Wrestling Championship!
These athletes are headed to Saskatoon on March 13th & 14th to represent Moose Jaw against the best in the Province:
Gold Medalists (1st Place)
Macey Binsfeld (Central CI, Female 60kg):
Binsfeld delivered a perfect performance, securing four consecutive wins by fall to claim the regional title.
Her dominance was on full display in her opening match, which she ended in just 19 seconds.
She contributed 10.0 team points to Central Collegiates 4A Girls team winning the Regionals Championships.
Kruz Babich (A.E. Peacock CI, Male 69kg):
Babich was untouchable in the 69kg bracket, winning the gold without surrendering a single point in his technical falls.
He capped off his run with a 10-0 victory in the 1st place match, earning 10.0 team points.
Silver Medalists (2nd Place)
Paisley Patrosh (Central CI, Female 47kg):
Patrosh secured a silver medal for Central CI, rebounding with an injury default win to secure her spot on the podium and adding 7.0 team points to Central Collegiates 4A Girls team winning the Regionals Championships.
Van Woods (A.E. Peacock CI, Male 115kg):
Woods made quick work of his semifinal opponent with a 41-second pin.
Despite a tough battle in the finals, his silver medal performance earned 7.0 team points.

Top Four Finishers (4th Place)
Liam Palmer (Vanier CI, Male 73kg):
Palmer showed incredible resilience in the consolation bracket.
After an early loss, he pinned three consecutive opponents—including a lightning-fast 24-second fall—to fight his way into the bronze medal match.
He earned 3.0 team points.
Nixon Novak (A.E. Peacock CI, Female 56kg):
Novak demonstrated great grit in the 56kg class, picking up a pin in the consolation rounds to reach the 3rd place match, contributing 3.0 team points.
Carter Beliveau (Vanier CI, Male 100kg):
Beliveau opened his tournament with a solid second-period pin over Iain St. John.
He battled through a tough round-robin to secure 4th place and 3.0 team points.
