Moose Jaw Koseikan Judo Club Competes In Edmonton

Eight athletes from the Moose Jaw Koseikan Judo Club were competing this past weekend at the Edmonton International Judo Tournament at the West Edmonton Mall.  

This competition attracted over 950 athletes from around the world.

The Results:

U14 Division

  • Devin Der – U14 Male Novice, -46kg Bronze

  • Alexander Maerz – U14 Male Novice, +66kg Bronze

  • Aayla Lee-Neuman – U14 Female Advanced, -40kg 5th

U16 Division

  • Jesse Reynaud – U16 Male Novice, +73kg Bronze

  • Raylynn Maerz – U16 Female Novice, +70kg 5th

U18 Division

  • Emmett Lee-Neuman – U18 Male Intermediate, -66kg 9th

  • Jesse Reynaud – U18 Male Novice, -81kg Gold

  • Raylynn Maerz – U18 Female Novice, +70kg DNP

  • Josie Mawson – U18 Female Advanced, +70kg 7th

Senior Division

  • Emmett Lee-Neuman – Senior Male Intermediate, -66kg Bronze

  • Jessie Halvorsen – Senior Male Intermediate, -73kg DNP

Emmett Lee-Neuman will be traveling to Vancouver next weekend with the Provincial Team for the Pacific International in Vancouver.


The next event for the whole club will be the Melfort Provincial Tournament on March 29th
