Local Players Part Of Championship Team (Copy)

This past weekend, Atlee Feiffer and Sophia Page represented Moose Jaw at the Alberta Championship Cup as part of their spring team, the Monday Nooner Pigeonette’s.
The roster included players from across southern Saskatchewan, including Pense, Regina, White City, Grand Coulee, Carnduff, and Moosomin.

Competing in the Tier 1 U15 division, the team battled through the round robin with a 2–2 record, earning a fourth-place finish and a spot in the semifinals.
In a tightly contested game, they secured a 3–2 victory in a shootout to advance to the championship.

In the final, the Pigeonette’s faced the BC Blades and came away with a hard-fought 2–1 win to claim the championship title.
It was an impressive performance and a great achievement for these local athletes on a big stage.
