Warehouse One To Close All Stores Including Moose Jaw

If your favourite store in the Town and Country Mall is Warehouse One - the Jean Store you may soon have to find someplace else to pick up your denim.

The parent firm for the Warehouse One store in the Town and Country Mall has announced the orderly shutdown of all retail outlets including the Moose Jaw location.

The Winnipeg based firm has asked the courts to allow the orderly wrap up of the chain’s 128 retail stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the Yukon.

“After careful consideration of all reasonably available options, the Company has made the difficult decision to commence the CCAA (Companies Creditors Arrangement Act) proceedings to allow for an orderly wind down of its operations, including all Warehouse One and Bootlegger retail locations,” a statement from the firm read.

The Winnipeg based parent company has lost $21.5 million in the last two years resulting in a major liquidity crisis. In 2025 the loss was $15 million and the loss was $6.5 million in 2024.

The firm advised customers to “be advised that Gift Cards, Returns & Exchanges and the ‘Perks’ program will be honoured through May 13, 2026. After May 13, 2026 all sales are final.”

On May 15, 2026, the Applicant will seek authorization from the Court to commence an orderly liquidation and closure of its retail store locations during the CCAA Proceedings the company stated.

There has been no announcement as to when the Moose Jaw store will close.
