U17 Mustangs Easily Win League Championship
The U17 Mustangs are South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League champions after defeating the Swift Current Rampage 4 - 1 after one period of play.
Heavily favourites to take the league championship after a perfect 10 - 0 regular season the Mustangs won the league championship after Rampage forfeited following one period of play.

Cash Bellefeuille opened the scoring for the Mustangs at 18:40 of the first period.
The Mustangs would go up 2 - 0 lead when 15 Cooper Fulton scored at 16:44. The assist went to Jaxyn Houle.
Moose Jaw went up 3 - 0 when Cooper Fulton at 13:58 assisted by Jaxyn Houle.
The Mustangs’ fourth goal was scored by Cash Bellefeuille at 12:55 assisted by Jaxyn Houle. This completed Cash Bellefeuille’s hat trick.
With ten seconds left in the first period Swift Current got on the scoresheet on a Caylum Greenley goal assisted by Dusty Paul.
With the Rampage’s forfeiture of the game the Mustangs received their second game victory when an opponent forfeited in the championship tournament.
