Terry Fox Polar Bear Run This Sunday

The weather forecast this Sunday so far isn’t calling for major sub zero bone chilling weather but the warmer than normal temperatures will still have the polar bears of a sort out.

On Sunday December 10th at noon Peacock Collegiate will be hosting their 13th annual Polar Bear Run.

Starting at noon - a registration table is set up at 11:30 am - the 5 kilometre event will see Peacock staff and student run or walk through Happy Valley Park.

The event is also open to anybody else in the community who would like to join in.

Proceeds from donations go to the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.

Event organizers are hoping to have over 100 runners and walkers take part.
