Wind Warning Issued

Effective 4:30 AM Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Winds of up to 90 km per hour can be expected or occurring. The winds are strong enough to carry the potential to cause property damage and potential injury to people from flying debris.

Strong northwesterly winds gusting at times to near 90 km/h are expected to develop across the region this morning. Winds will moderate over western areas this afternoon and eastern areas towards evening.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
