Majority Of City Services And Facilities Closed For Remembrance Day

With today being Remembrance Day the City would like residents to know what City services are available or open. Here is the list:

- City Hall: CLOSED.

- Moose Jaw Transit – NO BUSES RUNNING.

- November 11 Waste collection: Zone 7 will receive collection as per the bi-weekly schedule.

- November 11 Recycling pickup: Zone 5 will receive collection as per the bi-weekly schedule.

- Sanitary Landfill: Open 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

- Kinsmen Sportsplex: Open 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for Adult Swim and 1:15-5p.m. for Public Swim. Free Family Skating will be held from 1:45-2:45 p.m., and free Public Skating 3-4 p.m.

- Yara Centre: Yara Centre Track, Turf and Fitness Centre will be open 12 noon-9 p.m.

- Mosaic Place: Open for booked activities.

- Moose Jaw Cultural Centre: Open for booked events.

The City of Moose Jaw will honour Veterans by lowering flags at City facilities to half-mast and turning the City Hall clock tower light red on November 11.
