Members of the Moose Jaw Police Service’s Community Policing Division have concluded an investigation into a 23-year-old male.

On December 12, 2025, the MJPS’ Community Policing Division located the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect at a residence on the east side of Moose Jaw.

A further investigation resulted in the seizure of 467.5 grams of Fentanyl, which has an estimated street value of approximately $95,000. Police also located an imitation firearm in the suspect’s vehicle.

When fentanyl is dealt by drug dealers on the street, it is typically sold in a “point” (0.1 gram). This seizure equates to over 4,600 “points” removed from the streets that would have been sold.

As a result of the investigation, Jayden Severight-Sparvier, 23, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl

  • Breach of Undertaking

  • Breach of Probation

Jayden Severight-Sparvier made his first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on December 12, 2025.
