Police Seek Man For Firearms And Child Porn Offences

The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 39-year-old Calvin Longworth, who is wanted for several offences.

On February 20, 2025, Moose Jaw Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Section (CIS) and members of the Community Policing Division executed a search warrant as part of a firearms investigation.

The search warrant led to the seizure of property, including a handgun, ammunition, and electronic devices. As a result of the investigation, Longworth was charged with multiple firearms offences and was released from custody with a court date, but failed to attend court as scheduled.

An arrest warrant was issued.

During the firearms investigation, police executed search warrants for several electronic devices that were seized.

During the search of the electronic devices, police discovered child pornography. The MJPS’ CIS Unit opened a separate investigation into Longworth with the assistance of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, which led to additional warrants being executed.

As a result of this new ICE investigation, Calvin Longworth has been charged with:

Making child pornography

Accessing and possessing child pornography

Arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child

Sexual Interference

Invitation to sexual touching
