The number of other break and enters - garden sheds, sheds, out buildings and garages - may have dropped from March to April but thieves were still out looking for crimes of opportunity.
Thieves will be thieves given the opportunity.
In response the Moose Jaw Police Service has posted advice on how to help prevent it and snip the crimes in the bud.
