Richard Braves The Crappiest Roads In Canada

By Richard Dowson Opinion/Commentary

For years Saskatchewan took pride in having the crappiest Highways in Canada.

Not any-more!

The latest Canadian Crappy-Highway Award goes to Alberta. In particular, Alberta Highway 16, also known as the Yellowhead Highway. The highway runs from Lloydminster, Alberta to Jasper, Alberta. I just drove the Lloydminster to Edmonton section. Yes – both ways!!!

This is a CBC photo of pot holes near Edson, Alberta. The Lloydminster to Edmonton is much the same.

That section of the Yellowhead Highway is pock-marked with more potholes than all streets and avenues in Moose Jaw, combined.

The Alberta Government should spend less time complaining about Canada and more time repairing their highways.
