Tornadoes Drop Season Opener In Yorkton

Saturday was not a good day for the Peacock Tornadoes football team.

After taking the lead the Toilers ended up losing to the Yorkton Regional High School Raiders 48 - 8.

Meanwhile in other high school football action the Central Cyclones defeated the Swift Current Colts 52 - 7.

The Vanier Vikings, who moved to 9-aside this season, defeated the Gull Lake Lions 40 - 13 in exhibition action.
