It was a good evening for Spartans U14 Girls

By Robert Thomas

In what could best be described as a well done offensive as well as defensive game, the U14 Spartans female team managed to pull off a victory against the Prince Albert Thunder on Friday evening.

The Spartans and Thunder were both playing in the 9th Annual Premiere Prairie Classic Basketball.

The tournament runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cost of admission is $10 per day, which allows people to access all five gyms where 85 different teams are vying for a gold medal.
