U18 A Warriors In Provincial Final
With all of the talk of league finals in multiple sports there’s one team you’ve likely not heard about who are on the cusp of winning a provincial crown.
A provincial crown the team last won in 2000.
The Moose Jaw U18 A Warriors are in the provincial finals against the Saskatoon Redwing Admirals.
The Warriors are unlikely candidates to be in the provincial final after their 7th place finish (10 - 13 - 5) in Hockey Regina’s U18A league.
The team had managed to battle their way up to fourth place in league play but due to sickness and injury ended up finishing in seventh place.
The team’s season record makes them unlikely candidates to be in the provincial final potentially two games away from capturing the banner, but they are there.
Game One goes this Friday March 20th at 8:15 pm at the Bert Hunt Arena.
Game Two will be played in Saskatoon.
If necessary a mini-game will be played immediately after Game Two.
