15U AAA Homer Out A Victory In Yorkton

In their third game in four days the Moose Jaw 15U AAA Canucks convincingly won 11 - 3 over the Yorkton Cardinals.

The light air brought on by the scorching heat helped fire up the Canucks’ bats as they homered in a victory.

The Canucks’ Tucker Knoop put two balls out of the park driving in three runs.

Not to be outdone the Canucks’ Jordan Scory punched out a home run in the sixth inning making the score 6 - 3 in Moose Jaw’s favour.

The Canucks came alive in the top of the seventh inning scoring five runs on four hits.

Taylor Usher was on the mound for Moose Jaw giving up three runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings.

Lucas Lind sprinted his heart out stealing three bases in the game.

The Canucks next home game is a doubleheader on Saturday May 30th against the Saskatoon Astros at 12 noon and 3 pm at Blackwell Diamond.
