Norway and Moose Jaw Sign Mooserandum Of Understanding

Calling it a Mooserandum of Understanding the communities of Moose Jaw and Stor-Evdal, Norway the two municipalities have come to terms in the Moose Talks.

The document signed by Mayor Fraser Tolmie and Deputy Mayor Linda Otnes Henriksen of the Municipality of Stor-Evdal called for mutual cooperation and friendship citing similar goals of international cooperation, mutual prosperity, advancing the majestic moose as a worldwide symbol of strength and friendship.

It also allows Mac to reclaim the title of the world’s tallest moose and the Stor-Evdal moose to be declared the shiniest and the prettiest moose in the world.

Part of the Mooserandum if ratified by each municipality’s councils will see Moose Jaw holding an annual Norway Day every May 17th and Stor-Evdal to hold an annual Canada Day every October 15th.

Also including were an understanding for future endevours.
