MOMS’ MARKET

MOOSE JAW EXHIBITION CONVENTION CENTRE

APRIL 13th AND 14th 10AM - 4PM

ADMISSION IS FREE

it’s the biggest trade show she has done so far and her first in Moose Jaw but for Anndee Webster the event is set for success.

“We are hosting the Mom’s Market here. It’s the first one we’ve done in Moose Jaw,” Webster said.

A Regina resident she has ran small shows at malls and the like.

The show will see close to 80 vendors with the majority of vendors from the local area. There are a few exceptions - with a couple of vendors from Saskatchewan and Alberta.

“It is going to be a massive market. You don’t have to be a mom to attend but it is family friendly so bring everybody down,” Webster said.

“We have everything you could ever want and more . We’ve got children’s boutiques, we’ve got pottery, he have all sorts of handmade items…really anything you can think of we got it.”

VENDORS WERE JUST STARTING TO SET UP THEIR BOOTHS ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THE TRADE SHOW WILL FEATURE APPROXIMATELY 80 VENDORS WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF GOODS BEING OFFERED

Unlike the majority of area trade shows the Mom’s Market has no admission fee.

This is a FREE event to attend.

She said the hope is with no admission fee. More people will come and have the opportunity to buy from one of the vendors at the show.

“There is no admission fee. Why would we charge you to shop?” Webster said. “I would rather see people come and spend the $5 on jam or something great (other than an admission fee).”

There will be free draws at the event.

“We have a massive grand prize, so pop on by, all of the vendors have donated something to the grand prize,” she said, adding “there are close to 80 items up for grabs. All you have to do is pop by and enter.”

Webster said there has been a lot of word spread in the city about the trade show and a strong response from social media they’re hoping will drive shoppers to the event.

The free to attend is a big hit on social media with a lot of feedback.

“I just hope we get a wonderful turnout and come down and support local vendors and just enjoy yourself.”
