U18 A Mavericks Slide Another Spot

The Moose Jaw U18 A Carpet One Mavericks lost their second game in a row 5 - 1 to the Regina Rebels Red on January 19th.

The loss moves the Mavericks to third place in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League’s U18 A South Division tied with second place Balcarres Barracudas who have three games in hand.

The lone Moose Jaw goal was scored by Miley Kleckner at 10:14 of the first period. Assists went to EJ Stuehler and Kenzie Hazell.

It needs to be noted that the division lead continually switches as all teams near the top, including Moose Jaw are within a couple points of each other.

The Mavericks next home game is Saturday February 14 at 1:30 pm at the Bert Hunt Arena.
