Snapshots From ParkArt
Another Canada Day has come and gone; and with it, another ParkArt. The annual arts fest, held in front of the library often draws in as many people as does the actual Canada Day celebrations. This year, the weather held up and the fifty plus different vendors seemed to be having a great time displaying their art for people.
I took just a few snapshots, so the lion's share of the artisans were not included.

Angie Arndt at Country Angel Rustic Décor has been making signs like these for over 20 years now. She designs her own stencils and comes up with some of the text you can read on her signs as well.
Genevieve Fafard, at Your Aunties Panties, does a lot of fun, vintage, custom made flair. Lots of hip lefty swag, like Justin Trudeau swag and buttons devoted to smashing patriarchies.
Leilah Eryn, at Catty Cats & Critters, was there with her exciting spin on handmade stuffed animals.
From Regina, Sarah Stasiak runs Sew & Tell. She designs women's accessories, like change purses, oven mitts, passport holders and planters.
Guy Riendeau is The Barnboard Guy. He makes cool craft shelves and coat racks, often out of barnboards. Here he is with his daughters Rachel and Jacklyn, who were on hand to help out.

Karli Jessup runs Jessup's General Store, a pop-up artisan stand/website. She crafts a lot of edgy merchandise. But it's her really soft shirts that sell the best.
Lila Lins, at Touch of Whimsy, got the idea for her tea pot garden ornaments because she loves tea time. She comes from an olde fashioned British family who still observes tea time twice a day.
Steven Van Hove brought his Recyclized wares all the way from south of Wilcox. He rusts all the sheets himself.
"I just needed a new hobby" he said. So he ordered a plasma cutter of eBay and he's been doing this ever since.
