Ranch Roping To Take Over Exhibition Grounds
With the season wrapping up the Golden Mile Arena - 250 Thatcher Drive East - is set to be turned into the honeymoon of cow hands as the Canadian Ranch Roping finals take over the venue.
Dubbed the sport of the traditional ranch land Ranch Ranch Roping combines active skills along with traditional riding in an effort to demonstrate and gain points in the essentials of being out on the range and working with livestock.
It is not to showier events you will see at a rodeo is rather an active working partnership between horse rider and the livestock themselves.

The championship will be held Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 with 8 am starts both days.
Event runs until all of the runs are completed.
The event has a competitive edge hit is also pegged as a family friendly event.
The event is seen as more of a morale booster with a lot of fun had by all in attendance.
