Main Street Work Set Resume This Weekend
With close to two and a half inches of rain in the past three days, the time line to complete repairs to Main Street North have been delayed.
The City now estimates the repairs and re-opening of the street to traffic in the work area will be September 25th weather permitting. Work is slated to resume this weekend.
Main Street North is closed to allow work on Phase Four of the Cast Iron Water Main Replacement Program.
Main St. detours are in place for northbound traffic at Stadacona St., while southbound traffic will detour at Caribou St.
During the project Moose Jaw Transit has moved its bus stops temporarily to 1st Avenue NW between Hochelaga Street W and Stadacona Street West.
As well as Main Street North there are on-going water main replacement projects underway at:
- 1st Avenue NE between Saskatchewan St. and Hall St.
- Fairford St NE from Fifth Ave NE to Sixth Ave NE
