Moose Jaw Man Charged With Indecent Act

After a public appeal by the Watrous RCMP to identify a suspect 33-year-old Rory James Bax of Moose Jaw has been arrested and charged with committing an indecent act under section 173 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Bax will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday.

Watrous RCMP Detachment officers, along with investigators from Saskatchewan RCMP’s Regina and Saskatoon Serious Crimes Units, executed search warrants at residences in Moose Jaw and Nokomis, SK as a part of this investigation on April 6th.

Watrous RCMP additionally received assistance from the Saskatchewan RCMP’s National Sex Offender Registry and Violent Crime Linkage Analysis Section.

Bax is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
