Kohl Selected As NCHA Weekly Star

Moose Jaw Mavericks female hockey alumnus Jasmine Kohl made big waves this past weekend in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) league play.

Kohl, a junior forward with the Lake Forest Foresters, scored three goals in two games last weekend.

Her performance resulted in her being selected as one of the week’s three stars in the division.

This is the second time Kohl has received the honour this season.

Kohl scored the winning goals in a 3 - 0 (one goal in the game) and a 4 - 2 (two goals in this game) victories over top of Marian .

Her game winning goal in the 4 - 2 win came in the third period.

At the present time she is 4th in conference points with 13 - seven assists and six goals.
