Vanier Surprises Central - Photo Essay

The surprising Vanier Vikings wave in boy’s basketball continued Monday evening as the Vikings junior boy’s team defeated the Central Cyclones junior boys 96 - 73.

The game saw the Cyclones take a 24 - 16 lead after the first quarter only to see a resurgent Vikings surge in the second quarter to a 44 - 41 at halftime.

The third quarter would see the Vikings hit for three field goals and a lead widening to 71 - 57.

The Vikings continued their pinpoint accuracy in the fourth quarter going on to outscore the Vikings 25 - 16 and record a 96 - 73.
