In what was called “a very physical game” the Peacock Toilers junior girls basketball team defeated the Notre Dame Hounds JV girls basketball team 67 - 23 on Monday evening.

Notre Dame drew 21 fouls and Peacock drew eight fouls.

The Toilers went ahead from the start taking a 22 - 9 lead after the first quarter.

The score at halftime was Toilers 38 and Hounds 14.

At the end of the third quarter the lead increased to 49 - 18.

The final score was Peacock 67 and Notre Dame 23.
