Canucks 15U AAAs Drop Provincial Final 6 - 4

A sixth inning ground out by the Sask Five Giants’ Jyles Kennedy scored two runs and sealed the Moose Jaw 15U AAA’s Canucks fate.

The Canucks lost the provincial final 6 - 4 to the Giants.

The Giants scored first in the game as they picked up a run in the opening inning.

The Canucks would tie the game at 1 - 1 in their half of the second inning.

The fifth inning saw the Canucks temporarily take the lead.

Zad Guillaume hit a single scoring a run with Guillaume stealing home to make the score Canucks 3 and Five Giants 1.

Moose Jaw’s lead was short lived as a home run scored three runs for the Five Giants and a 4 - 3 lead.

Moose Jaw would tie the game 4 - 4 in the sixth inning as Neal Kohl hit a single helping the Canucks tie the game.

Kaiden Gadd was the Canucks starter Gadd gave up seven hits and four runs (three earned) in four and one-third innings of work.

The bottom of the sixth inning saw the Five Giants score two runs with the Canucks shut out through the final two innings.
