U17 Mustangs Pick Up A Pair In Swift Current

The Moose Jaw U17 Mustangs picked up a pair of wins 8 - 4 and 7 - 4 in Swift Current versus the Rampage.

The wins move the Mustangs to a perfect 8 - 0.

Game One

The first period was tied 1 - 1 with the Mustang’s Cooper Fulton scoring with 30 seconds left in the period.

The Rampage would score two more until Cooper Fulton scored his second goal assisted by Christopher Gagne.

Brett Bowerin would tie it for Moose Jaw. Assisted by Cooper Fulton.

Swift Current would score their fourth goal at which point the Mustangs scored five unanswered goals.

Cooper Fulton would get his hat trick and game winning goal.

Connor Hart-Livingston would score a hat trick and record his 12th goal of the season. He is second in the league point standings.

Game Two

Moose Jaw got a two goal jump on Swift Current in the first period.

Connor Hart-Livingston scored assisted by Jaxyn Houle and Christopher Gagne.

Brett Bowerin scored an unassisted marker to give Moose Jaw a 2 - 0 lead.

Moose Jaw would score four goals to go up 6 - 1.

Colin Peterson, Jaxyn Houle, Connor Hart-Livingston and Giles Guse all added a marker for Moose Jaw.

Brett Bowerin would round out the scoring for Moose Jaw.

The Mustangs next game is Thursday May 28th at 7 pm versus the Weyburn Thrashers at the Red Kinight Arena.
