Numerous Vehicles Involved In Highway One Collision - MJPS Asks Motorists To Avoid Area

The Moose Jaw Police Service and emergency personnel are currently on the scene of a collision involving numerous vehicles on Highway #1 east of the city.

As a result, Highway #1 eastbound lanes are closed east of Caribou Street East.

Motorists travelling east will be re-routed through Caribou Street East and then onto the Manitoba Expressway. Westbound travellers shouldn’t be effected.

The MJPS is asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

Additionally, the MJPS is asking motorists to drive with caution and follow the appropriate signage and direction from emergency personnel.

It is unknown at this time when the eastbound lanes of Highway #1 will reopen.
