Waterslide Reopened
In a public notice the City has announced the Willy Winmar Waterslide at the Kinsmen Sportsplex (indoor pool) has reopened effective Friday September 25th.
The waterslide had remained closed from June 14th when the annual maintenance shutdown found corrosion problems with the supports. The corrosion problems were severe enough to be a safety concern which the City had repaired this past week.

A swimmer who contacted MJ Independent about the latest development said they are delighted with the news.
